Default Roundover on Bipole?

I expected to find something on this already, but poking around didn't turn anything up... maybe my search mojo is weak today.

Should one bother to roundover, and/or do sim-work in The Edge to smooth baffle step (asymmetric baffle) when building a bipole?

I expect the actual baffle step would of course be addressed. Isn't there a higher frequency mess that diffraction effects can make? Is that automagically fixed in a bipole config., or is effort to neaten that out still beneficial?

The smoother you can make the transition the better.
