Hello Joachim,

Thanks for the extensive inputs of this OB speakers.

I and other DIY"ers will appreciate if you could summarize the open baffle size and required drivers with Xover components.

Few years back ,when visiting Hong kong ,i had auditioned Audio Physic speakers, the sound of which i had liked ,and only recently came to know that you were the designer of the Audio Physic speakers.

So from audio Physic experience, i can say that you are few of the best designers.
Thanks and kind regards

mekr

Hello Joachim!
Will there be a diy-version of the mpl with neodymium magnets?
If so, when, and in what price range do you think?

Cheers!

We do not plan a Neodym version of the driver but i found a really nice driver that is much cheeper that works also well.
Maybe i publish a circuit for that.

Ok.
I'm sorry to say, but that frequency response makes me scared, even with a complex passive correction filter it would be hard to make that driver behave in a balanced way.

I guess a Supravox driver is my best option to replace my Visaton B200 then.
