Hello everyone, Been lurking around the fr forum for a while now and have finaly decided to build a set of Half Changs. This is my second diy speaker project and I cant wait to get started. It is however my first expierience with FR.
I am trying to source fe207's in the UK. Had a look at the wilmslow audio site but they dont seem to have them, Does anyone no a source for them in the UK? I priced a set from madisound, Including delivery they were £178. Which I thought was decent. |

Thanks for quick reply aro, Total comes to £212, Find it hard to belive that its cheaper to buy and ship them from usa than europe..
Will be picking up ply during the week so all going well should start the cabs next weekend, Got to say love the HC that bobtrancho built. If I can get them half as good as them I'll be pleased.. |

Hi Mac
I purchased a pair of FE167E drive units from the following German company, as it was recommended by another forum member. Breitbandlautsprecher und mehr - SpectrumAudio The website isn't great and you probably wont find what your after, so I would recommend emailing your inquiry The speakers arrived in 3-4 days and there was no duty to pay! I hope this helps |

Hi DJMAC,
You might also consider Europe-Audio based in the Netherlands for Fostex: FE207E - Fostex 8" Full Range Speaker - EUROPE AUDIO As they are in the EU there's no hassle ordering from them, no import duty, just VAT at local rate which unfortunately is 19% Delivery is by DPD courier and takes about 3 - 4 days. The site is in English with prices shown in pounds Sterling.Hope this helps. Steve |
