hivi b3n and Behringer CX2310

Hello,

this my first post, so be kind.

I am working on my first set of speakers, the hivi bs3 (using b3n) single drive system design from zaph audio.

He states in his excellent write up that if not using a ht receiver it is highly recommended to use an active subwoofer crossover.

I see on fleabay a behringer cx2310 active crossover. Would this fit my needs in seperating what goes to the hivi b3n and what goes to my subwoofer?

Would i need more than one stereo amp?

Any advice, would be much appreciated

Yes that XO would work. It won't be the last word in transparency thou.

If you actually add a woofer(s), you would need ampifier(s) for that.

My subwoofer is powered, so then no need for another amp, right?

Do you have another suggestion for a xo that is a bit more asthetically pleasing? WAF factor=smaller
