Default Questions about Metronome ML.

Questions about Metronome ML..

1. Is there any complete drawings to the Audio Nirvana 10" speaker?
2. What is the sensitivity 1W/1m.., high or low?
3. Where can I buy Audio Nirvana speakers in Europe?
4. How low in hz can I expect this config will go, -3 dB?

1/ not that i know of
2/ whatever the spec is (if you can believe that). Is this the stamped basket one? (the cast may not be suited to a Met) The former is 95 dB by my measure.
3/ An is David Dick's house brand. You probably need to buy from US.
4/ Scott, do you still have the sim?

Ok..., is there any other 10" element that will perform well, an bas/midrange maybe, and a tweeter?
Have anyone thought about a slavebass in the bottom, instead of the pipe?
Do You think it will work?

That is an interesting driver. Conelooks a lot like the Visaton B200. Based on looks alone i'd pick that over the AN

I think in fact it is based on the Visaton B200 :-)
Do you think I can use same cabinet size, as for the Fostex 207E?

Last I checked, Wolfgang at www.spectrumaudio.de had the AN line.

I think the AN10 Met. was a victim of my last HDD crash, or I could have it on one of my (many) spare old drives. I'll see if I can dig it out. No great surprises though; from memory, 38Hz Fp; nominal flat alignment. With a bit of fiddling with the cabinet position, you could probably get away without a BSC circuit but for the AN driver's inherently rising response, so you'd either need to listen ~10 degrees off-axis a la Jordan et al, or a shelving filter from about 800Hz if you're on-axis.

Looks like a B200 with a bigger motor bolted to it / more electrical damping if the Qt figure is to be believed.

Assuming the very sketchy specs. in the above link are accurate, no; Vas is way too high.

I will be most thankful if you can help me with a complete drawing/size of the cabinet, that match the 10" AN. Hopefully I donīt need to take up a hole in the ceiling because of the hieght...
