HELLO
I'm a big fan of Altec Lansing Midrange sound quality If anybody know actual speaker brands and model with the same sound of this ALTEC please send me answers p.s. I try many many speaker brand (PEERLESS-VIFA-VISATON-SILVER FLUTE......) but nothing of this brand approach THE ALTEC SOUND. THANKS IN ADVANCE ! |

Because nobody help me with my question .
I take a chance to buy CIARE CH250, I made this choice for OB box configuration, sound quality, efficiency and fullrange driver. I send my personal appreciation next time I cut lower frequency with only one capacitor 6dB 250hz. thanks to me to answer myself nick |

Sarcasm aside, the lack of answers may stem from a couple of reasons:
1/ The Altec is a coax driver (viz. a multiway), & this section of the forum is about wide-band / FR units. And 2/ There isn't much made these days that is exactly analogous to the Altec gear. PHY are probably closest, as they have a coax unit with AlNiCo motors voiced in a trad fashion, but it comes at a heck of a price. Last edited by Scottmoose; 6th February 2010 at 05:28 PM. |
