Default Will Fostex FF206FS-R Work In Sachiko's?

Just rushing out the door for work, but wanted to through this question out there.

Will the Fostex FF206FS-R work properly in the Sachiko cabinets? I know they are designed for the 206E drivers, which I have on hand. However, the 206FS-R look to be a more sophisticated driver, and more refined sounding. Provided it will match well with the cabinet.

Your thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated. I need to move on these quickly, and they may already be gone.

Regards
Mister Pig

Do you mean FE206eS-R? There is at least 1 set of Sachiko with good reports by the owner.

I built a pair of these and they ROCK. A cabinet maker friend of mine and I slapped a pair of these together in a weekend and we hooked up a pair of Atma-Sphere 60 watt OTL's to them in his huge workshop. The result was rock concert levels with a sense of scale that was very impressive indeed.

He'd been using a pair of Altec VOT's but they had a dead compression driver in one channel and he's been using the Sachikos hanging from the ceiling in his shop ever since. I'm going to retrieve them fairly soon. I'd say they've been through their painful "breaking in" period by now.

I heartily recommend the combination.
