Several threads on this speaker here already, as well as some at Parts Express's site. I don't know if anyone has completed their speakers yet. I got some with a line array in mind, the idea being decent cone area but small center-center distance when the speakers are stacked with long axis horizontal. I was thinking 16 per side. Others may have more extreme ideas.
What is also noteworthy about these drivers is the attempt to control cone breakup via two glue beads along the long axis of the cone at the junction between cone and surround, clearly visible in the product photo once you know to look. First time I've seen something like that in cheap oval speakers.... |

I just picked up 6 of these as I was building a pair of fullrager Tang Bang W4-1337sd speaks. I am interested in how they might sound. Hope they all work, almost kicking myself at not getting more......
