Hi all,
I want to build new loudspeakers, since I think the drivers I'm using are capable of producing much better sound when placed in the right cabinet. Right now they are in some Carlsson cabinets, they produce a nice sound, but the bass can be a bit 'boomy' sometimes. Is there anyone out here who can tell me what units I'm using? They measure 6,5". I need some data to calculate a new enclosure. Since I wasn't able to find any info the the web, I'm asking you this. Is the Foster driver almost the same as the Fostex FE166E for example? I have to say that the drivers are old, pretty old, they can be like 15 years old, or maybe 20. Thank you for your reply in advance! ![]() ![]()

No one knows what drivers I could compare these to?
I was thinking about building some transmission line cabinets, but don't know whether these drivers are suitable for those enclosures... Any info is welcome! |
