Also don't forget the Veravox 7x as a possible driver. Solen has them.

Veravox 7x

Note however that the drivers look different than current manufacture.

The 5x has to low a Qts.

are those 7x drivers at solen currently in production from ATD or are they NOS?
i think i read that the 7x has a paper surround. info is very limited, if anything like the 5, sensitivity is ≥ 3db down from published spec. anyone have a transfer function fq res plot?

I think they are a more recent production (..frame is different, it has a phase plug and the older version and the same inverted "cap" that the 5x has). Note however that the newer version might not be as good as the older version (..don't know).

The 5x they are selling is definitely "vintage". Solen has actual measurements for that driver.
