4" Babbs listed on ebay

The auction is not mine, nor anyone I know. Relisted at least once.

Listed as Eminence, but these are obviously Babb 414's or the DCGold version. Aluminum cone, spiderless, plastic basket (truly waterproof).

From memory the 414's were:
high Qts -in the realm of 0.9
very low Fs for a 4" - I'm thinking 80Hz-ish
moderately efficient - mid 80's

The whizzer extends them to the 17kHz range if not further.

I have spec's, but not with me. It will be Sunday PM before I can be back in touch if anyone wants them.


IIRC, Alan Babb did go to work for Eminence after closing the doors -don't know if there's a connection, but the designs now belong to DC Gold AFAIK.
