Hi all,
Can one tell how good is this speaker by just looking at these specs? Is it worth building one with this? No, you can't really tell what a driver sounds like from the specs. An SPL/frequency plot would help a lot. Given the Qts of .61, though, this one ought to give a fair indication of its potential in an open baffle. Since an OB is so cheap and easy to put together, its definately worth building one to see how it sounds (assuming the drivers are already in your possession or aren't prohibitively expensive themselves).

Hi Hoyo,
Thanks for the reply. No, there aren't too expensive but I just do not want to put too much effort for little return. I like to build a horn for these. What do you think? |

The Qts is pretty high for a horn-loaded design...
