I like the C series of Lowther drivers. I have pairs of PM6C and PM2C drivers and have always wanted a pair of PM7C drivers. I am not sure if they are produced any more. If I found a pair PM7C drivers, that I new were in good shape and could be picked up with minimal effort at that price, I would probably jump on the deal.

The 7C was the best of the C drivers, and is no longer produced. Reconing will cost about $450, so make sure that they have the rolled whizzer. For the last couple of years the binding post have had big, gold, knurled screw fittings. Before that they were colored black and red plastic. If these have the knurled post, go for it. If they don't have the rolled whizzer, forget it. If they have the old binding post, and the rolled edge whizzer, I would figure $350 would be a better purchase price.

Hope that helps, but let me know if you have other questions.
