Hi all just seen these drivers on ebay and wondered if some one could have a look at them. As i fancy building some TL design speakers but dont know the first thing about drivers i know the fostex are a good brand but would rather buy some thing cheaper for a first project. DO you think i would get decent bass from these 160366537538

Very hard to tell as there are no specs or part numbers but it does say they are Realistic brand which I believe are/were a subset of RadioShack.
Also, in the picture, the whizzer cone looks a bit damaged. but if it is only one pound and you don't pay shipping then i dont see why not, just don't expect great quality. |

Whizzer is damaged... not an auspicious start. Picture isn't large enuff to make out the part number... there were 2 RS 8" whizzer jobs, this would be the big magnet one....
number will be something like 40-1792 dave
