Has anyone built these speakers ?. I have downloaded the plans from the Frugal Horn site ,but i can not make heads or tails of the cut sheet .The dimensions do not match the drawings. I have built several speakers in the past including the Harvey BVR, Nagoaka Super Swan and the Decware Wicked one subwoofer . All of these cabinits were more complex than the Dalek but the plans were accurate . any hep would be greatly appreciated as i am ready to tackle a new project

Just to test the drawing, i transported the "cut-pieces" into SketchUp and used them to build a virtual Dalek... nothing wrong that i can see... lots of fiddly bits in this box.

Thanks for your help . My questions are
The plans on DIYAUDIO.COM call for the following 8 panels. 1-base panel (ok) 1-lower frt panel 535mm (ok) 1-upper frt panel/baffle 1280mm (ok) 2-internal partitions 1355mm (? what is 2nd panel for) 2-side panels (ok) 1-back panel 133mm (ok) Are these lengths correct The drawing shows a short panel between the internal partition and back panel is this dimension 800mm (?) yours does not show this, is it necessary The curved top calls for 13pc w/7.5 degree angle = 195 degree 12pc =180 degree (typo ?) |

The internal brace in the last part of the horn is recommended, the exact execution is up to you... i'm not able to get at the plans right now to answer your other questions.
