Hi,
Does anyone have a frequency response, and importantly an off-axis response for the new DX65? I can't find one on the net. Cheers! |

I have a pair on the way, courtesy of Jon ver Halen of Lowther
America, and I will be happy to post a curve after they arrive. I don't do off-axis curves, but its a reasonable assumption that it will be very similar to the DX55 and its brothers, as the cone structure appears to be the same.

Hi Nelson,
Funnily enough I was just reading your PDF about the Kleinhorn project. It would be good if you can share your findings of the DX65. Actually I have been looking for some off-axis plots of the DX55 as like you I thought it would be similar. I can't find any for that either though. Can you point me to some if you know of them, please? Cheers P.S. I see in a picture you have some ribbon tweeters with your KleinHorns, how did you decide at what point to roll them in? |

Fs is 89hz, opposed to 80hz on DX55 I have been looking at it fore a while, so I hope to hear more about it Tenson, Im not sure response curves on these drivers makes much sense You may have to listen to judge anything |

Don't believe Nelson. They are not on the way. I am REALLY enjoying them, and it may take a week or two before I am willing to ship them on. Matter of fact, they are playing in the background as I type.
Although I have not measured them, they have the same basic response of the DX55 - i.e. a rising response above 500 hz that needs taming to sound their best. Once properly equalized they are *very* nice.

DX65's are packed on will be shipped Tuesday. Because of the short week, Nelson will probably not get them till June 1st.
I miss them already.
