I built some simple golden ratio bass reflex cabs for my 126es. Previously they were in modified BiBs. I added 3 light coats of Mod Podge to the cones, but they still sounded very thin. Then I spent 15 dollars on parts and built these BSC/Zobel networks:

My new hobby: listening to speakers through youtube compression: Fostex youtube links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2z_1WjLvxY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRow2954PIA Both of those sound to me like they could use some BSC. Some open baffles that sound really nice to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb4KPk3WVx0 And I guess it's silly to really judge speakers based on a camcorder microphone, but I think that these prove that you can tell a great sound even through a mic and youtube compression: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXSVjbgvYR4 |
