anyone play with these ?

I was thinking of a diy 7th veil nonsuch 4 system (massive dirrectivity) but needing baffle step. The 4 driver mini array. Should be quick and detailed................

or a cheaper clone of the audience mini array using 4 of the small bandors.

I'm not too keen on an 8" wide baffle with no baffle step (yuck).

Maybe cross them to a woofer for a "fast system.

Not yet - but I have four of these to play with...

Was looking into using these for my bedside Internet radio with either one or two LAT 250 subs to fill in the bottom end a little.

However, I'm a complete newby and haven't found any proven designs to play with... To date I've only built a Jordan JX92s VTL, and JXR6HD kits from a local company...

yea, I've seen some car audio guys like them, but they are crossing 250hz and steep.

jkrutke tested some, seems they are a pain mounting.

Seeing all the hoopla over jordan and bandor units, these may offer 50% of the product for 20% of the cost.

I am skeptical that a 4 array will work well because my dual 4" bamboo in a verticle stack, it has about a 4" sweet vertical spot at 12'.

Mine sounds horrible without baffle step compensation (my box is 21" deep). Works best with 1 driver covered in 4" of foam.

Seems scary when there are some many other drivers that have already been played with.
