Has anyone built the Hiro?

Hello all,

I am about to start on a build and have seen many Sachiko and Saburo builds, but no mention of the Hiro.

Has anyone built a pair that can offer any advice or comment?

I don't know mate -neither have anything to do with me. The pair on the left is the pair Jeff Carder made before he got his propriety design[s], so birch & maple plys + solid hardwoods in strategic locations are the order of the day. The other was a picture I was sent a couple of years ago, but know nothing about. Looks like some form of ply though.
