Has anyone built the Hiro?

Hello all,

I am about to start on a build and have seen many Sachiko and Saburo builds, but no mention of the Hiro.

Has anyone built a pair that can offer any advice or comment?

Thanks
Ed

2 builds pictured. I gather there is another one in Australia, and a handful in Europe.

Jeff Carder built at least 1 pair, before he got his hands on his V2s

Thanks for the info you have provided me already.

Dave

Thanks also for all your contribution to this forum.
Is Jeff ok with contacting him, as I am not really a viable customer, but only seeking info?

I'd be surprised if he wasn't. He is an affable fellow.

I don't know mate -neither have anything to do with me. The pair on the left is the pair Jeff Carder made before he got his propriety design[s], so birch & maple plys + solid hardwoods in strategic locations are the order of the day. The other was a picture I was sent a couple of years ago, but know nothing about. Looks like some form of ply though.
