I'd guess even order passive networks would be best and odd order pretty bad for interaction - ? how about series network which can't simulate with AJ-Horn? when one is piddling and tring to blend a FR to helper woofer is it best to examine the lowpass section with RGA first and try to wing the FR with RTA?
which software is good for open baffle network simulation since MJK's sheets aren't available anymore? what do ya guys do when trying to make stuff work passively? - I realizes certain things just won't work/merge great Beta 12LTA in huge box - no network - 68uF highpass and 68uF/10mH highpass - one might not want just the cap as the actual xover may be very low and peak with no power handling ![]() 68uF and 68uF/10mH again - this time with Fostex 207 ![]() |

For flat baffle stuff basta is a very good piece of software. You get OB effects, diffraction effects, crossovers...and more
The main missing pieces: no room effects for OB and no floor bounce. Sean |
