Howdy hornophile, I just checked out that 45-liter box. I think you might pause on doubling that particular driver / box. The FE207E is considered the better option for a BR (and the BR would be smaller, too 35 liters vs. 45 liters before doubling).

I think some would say if you're going to that much trouble with an 8" Fostex, why not do an MLTL? You could still double it. Personally, I find doubling a no-brainer for the smaller drivers (the second driver is possibly no more expensive than a BSC circuit). With the bigger drivers, I'm less sure but I'd be interested in your results if you do go that way.
