Is the CSS FR125 Enabled or not?

Hi,

I just recently recieved a pair of CSS FR125, And on the label there is written "XBL2 tm ENABLED".

I am wondering if this is the same kind of "ENABLED" That is always talked about in this forum?

No. The EnABL frequently refered to here is something rather different -a pattern added (in the case of drivers) to a cone by 3rd party individuals or companies.

It should be noted that Bud Purvine's patented EnABL process works very well indeed on the CSS drivers, including the new SDX7.

However, great care needs be taken to avoid contamination of the gap between the phase plug and point at which the voice coil former attaches to cone, particularly on the FR & WR125

It is confusing. Here it is a verb referring to the existance of the XBL motor.

I'm reminded of my Grade 13 (Ontario) trigonometry teacher who used to have us mark things NB^3, saying if NB meant "important" than NB^3 would mean "really, really important".
