Im interested on Alpairs driver, i built JX92S GM's ML-TL which works nicely, real bass and overall balanced.

but now i'm interested to try Alpair 10 bass and Alpair 5 combination in TL box, which should look nicely and erase the necessity for the stand if its ported.

i'm sure it will perform very good.

GM or any one can help :) :)

0.31 ft^3/45.6 Hz T/S max flat:

L= 22.9"
CSA = 23.41"^2
zdriver = 8.6"
zport = 2" x 7" long near/at bottom

Vb = Vas, Fb = Fs MLTL (long):

L = 47.43"
CSA = 23.41"^2
zdriver = 14.85"
zport = 2" x 6" long near/at bottom

All dims i.d. and approximate. BSC will likely be required if not up against a boundary or two, so combined with a low Pe, strictly a near-field app/small room driver unless used in pairs with 2x power.

You're welcome!

Low efficiency and power rating = low dynamic headroom unless the music is highly compressed, such as R&R. If BSC is used, then another 3-6 dB of efficiency/dynamic headroom is lost.

A longer line would just shorten the vent due to higher damping, so if you want to try a longer one, then a 56" i.d. with the driver down 16.81" and a 2" x 4" long vent is the max length without putting the driver too far off axis WRT typical seated ear height.
