I’ve started building a pair of these; have wood cut for what’s on the drawing in the 138 thread.
A few questions about recommended bracing: 1) Was enough room (volume) left inside to add a driver rear brace/holey brace? 2) and to add inside side panel braces, to divide in trapezoids? 3) Dimensions (depth) of the triangular shaped piece in back? 4) Length of the angled pieces (compression braces for sides) in the waveguides? 5) Angular position of the same; centered @ both the throat and mouth? 6) Supra baffle; is one needed? If so how big around? Thanx!!! r |

Thanks!

Optional. It needs to go with the flow. And it needs to be tight -- so tight that it pushes the sides out infetesimally. dave

Got one of 'em together...
Don't sound bad for something made out of scraps from two other projects Actually, sounds like they have potential. Kinda echoey though, need to figure out the internal damping thing. Nothing inside now, just a big empty box, (with lots of bracing). The new pdf sez "damp as you would a bass reflex cab." Does that mean line the cab, stuff it part ways, or ??? I've built TLs & ML TLs, haven't messed w/ BRs before. Same thing but different? Deflex & wool? |
