Hi...
I just ordered two Eminence Delta 12 LF and want to combine them with my FE207E. The Deltas will work in a vented 100 - 110 l cabinet. All the guys in germany who did the Deltas with 8" FR (usually FE206E), put the FRs into a closed cabinet. That's a good option and will definately work, but I'm thinking about OB! Did anyone ever try an FE207E in an OB? Fostex says, that this driver has 95 db/W (m). Would he have those 95 dB in OB down to 300 Hz? This is my first own project and I'm kinda excited thnx Martin |

If the Fostex is in a sealed box how low does it go?

In theory, a driver's flat BW begins rolling off around (2*Fs/Qts) in 2pi space, or ~298 Hz for the FE207E, ergo OK to 300 Hz assuming the published specs are reasonably accurate and has a minimum baffle width around (4316.28/(298/2))*0.707 = ~20.48", but haven't compared it to any OB software yet, so Caveat Emptor.

Baffle 20.5"W x 47"H. Looks like it has decent bass response on OB - so it should be easy to mate the the Deltas.
