Does G Chang need Holey Driver Brace?

I am trying to figure out if I should build a G Chang or Half Chang for the Pioneer B20 driver. Does the G Chang need the Holey Driver Brace like the half Chang or will the little triangle piece for the G Chang be sufficient? I know internal bracing is always recommend. Thanks

they are frequently left out of Dave's drawings for either simplicity of view, or 'cause he forgot

it's doubtful an argument could be made against a well executed driver brace

what am I talking about, this is DIY - everything will be fair game for "discussion"
