what should I do with these speakers??

Lovely set of National/Panasonic FRs you have there (the shiny silkish dustcup is the give away).

They are probably best suited to OB duty as a mid-tweeter in something like MJK's simple passive XO baffle project.

Fs is probably 110-130 Hz with a Q close to 1 (depends on how much the alnico slug has aged)

cool. I'm glad someone chimed in! They don't sound bad in the original boxes but they don't sound great either. I can't put my finger on it but I don't quite like it. The original enclosures aren't flimsy but the wood is really thin and I think that doesn't help the sound much. They need serious help in the lower octaves, obviously. I like the idea of an open baffle, too. I wonder if I could pull something off using these in an OB and have my BIB's, both of them playing full range. Those westwell's sound good on vocal music and acoustic tracks. I don't know how imaging would be, though. I should invest woofer tester.
