Hi
I am currently running with FE-206E ML TL's which i really enjoy but having gone back to listening to classic hard rock need some energy at the bottom end especially when listening to live recordings. Plenty of searching found nothing with the 206 with a woofer IB or BR, I don't have any software or able to measure anything, so looking for some working plans. X-over around 200hz. Cheers Bruce |

Hi,
You could try line level or passive BSC to beef up the bass end. Passive : http://www.quarter-wave.com/General/BSC_Variable.pdf or similar line level : http://sound.westhost.com/bafflestep.htm or similar |

To go ~ 'live' requires efficiency, so either a very efficient 15" or larger driver ($$) in a huge cab or multiple drivers or a separate 'sub' system XO'd around 80 Hz to your MLTLs is required to keep up with the 206, so which way you want to go and do you have the $$/space budget for it?

G'Day
Really looking for a efficient 12" in a sealed cab, have BSC with the MLTLs, just looking for more at the bottom end. Cheers |

http://www.quarter-wave.com/Project07/Project07.html I was specifically thinking of the above projects. If you want to simply add a powered subwoofer you can. This will bring up the bottom and fill out the sound. Enjoy! |

Hi,
Never thought of an OB or heard one, would MJK's design with a 206 and Alpha 15A work, will need some help to design this starting with the baffle size. Thanks |

You would have to pad a 206 down around 9-10 Db. Either Bi amp or use dual 15A and even then the 206 would have to be padded down approx 4 Db or >. An efficent 15" in a BVR/BR ($) (size) might work, look up Basszilla. ron |
