Hi there,
i am posting this in the "FullRange" board, because my loudspeakers are basically Fullrange OB and tests have been run with those speakers. Single absorber in front of a room corner: http://img521.imageshack.us/my.php?i...bild045xt7.jpg Rear side of absorber: http://img521.imageshack.us/my.php?i...bild046rq0.jpg Note: FR is not measured in regular listening position, but for demonstration purposes 40 cm from the bottom. FR without absorber: http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/668...essung2mo1.jpg FR with absorber: http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/7...essung2vz0.jpg Costs per absorber: Approx. 12 Euros |

Some comments to measurement conditions:
The subwoofer belonging to the "Dipol 08" OB was switched off. A single speaker was placed in a way, that the rear lobe of the dipole was aiming directly at the the corner. This is a demo setting for the absorber/diffuser, not a proper placement of the Dipol 08 OB. Distance of OB to the corner approx 1.6 m. Distance of microphone approx. 60cm to the front of the baffle. Microphone approx 40cm from the bottom. Non directive microphone. FR measured by step response, each measurement averaged over 10 impulses. |

woody,
i feel sorry for your problems, but i thought of imageshack.us to be a trusted site. Please tell us, which link caused the problem. I cannot see any problems, when accessing the pictures from my computer and there have been no suspect processes started. I use latest "resident spybot" version to track my processes running. Are there other members who had problems using imageshack in the past ? I'd like to know. I can publish the pics somewhere else. Maybe we should ask one of the administrators to analyse the problem and delete the thread if necesssary. Kind regards |
