I'm getting old. I'm so used to the Austin 126/166 enclosures I clean forgot about the Dallas. My apologies Ron. That would be my choice of the existing single-horn designs for the 206.

I always thought this Carfrae Little Big Horn looked really cool.. It's supposed to sound really nice, but quite a challenge to the wood working skills I'd guess, at least for me...

You know, it's only supposed to be candles, not Roman candles...

Congrat's Ron!
-and Thanks, Guys....Scott in particular.....
It seems like a Jericho or Dallas might be an option, - but I'll certainly take another look at the Sachiko series.
BTW - what was the name of that stunning looker tht was presented without drawings.. -possible production model....

The Carfrae also is a nice looking speaker, although I don't think I've seen any drawings....

As for the multiway horn, this is the wooden midrange I was referring to:TAD TH4001 clone project

I would like to see a reference or formulae for this horn....
It seems to be a lot shorter than than a traditional Iwata profile....

A suggsetion for the moderators.. - a sticky section of reference drawings etc. might be interesting to a lot of people. I've been a member here since 2002, and a very great deal of valuable info, in terms of drawings and schematics have passed by. Quite a lot of this would easily fit such a reference file section...
Would be a lot easier for newcomers to find this info....
Just my 5 cts...............

Yes indeed, a (slightly belated) happy birthday Ron.

DallasII would be by far the better of the single-mouth horns. Ron knows what he's doing -until he did the Austins, this was probably the most refined BLH around. Sachiko is very different of course with it's MTM configuration & Olson style folding & expansion, so YMMV.

Huh! I thought I read something on the old FR forum that put you over a decade younger than me. Oh well, welcome to the 60s! If only it were like the '60s...............

Yeah, right! I want some of whatever makes anyone believe this. I just turned 62 and have only two long time friends around my age still above ground. Fortunately, at 65, 75 they both appear to be in excellent health, but I believe it has more to do with their genes and their long term lifestyle choices than any advances in medicine/whatever.

I liked Bob Hope's response in a long ago Playboy interview: "The one in the Fall is really nice."
