The Tangband thread is no longer on full range. That one is 20 to 13000 hz
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=264-850 vs. my Pioneer 50 cent K1VA8's which are 20 hz to 15,000 hz discussed in full range. So to skirt getting my subject banished I want to follow up on the Monocors. Is anyone seriously going to bring them to US? Could some place like MCM be petitioned to stock them? Otherwise, as a 5 in (maybe with one of those button tweeters) isn't the Tangband a good alternative? It seems to fit a price niche occupied by the Monocors and discontinued Radio Shack 5 in. I would hold out for Monocors if I knew anything was going on with them in US and the price point was around $25.00 |
