Default Lowthers on display in Perth, Australia??

Does anyone have or is aware of some of the higher end Lowthers on display / for demo in Perth, Western Australia?
I live up north but I'll be in the city next week and the week after.

I'm considering a step upward from my Fostexes and it's a costly leap into the darkness without listening to a set first. I understand the cabinet is a big variable but the mid to higher frequencies should be fairly consistent. My amplification is push-pull EL34 so something similar would be good. I don't think I'll have many (if any) options so it's not imperative.

I'll bribe you with beer or wine if you wish.

Hi Mike,

I am currently running Lowther DX-3 in MLTL with separate Transmission Line bass boxes. I also have a pair of Fostex FE206E for comparison, though IMHO the Lowthers are more transparent and definitely in another class.

You offered 'beer or wine' ...how about 'beer AND wine' and you can come and have a listen! Nahhh, just kidding.

I'm in Woodvale, contact me on Mob: 0429 983 668 and you're welcome to come around, daytime during the week suits me.

Regards,

Steve.

thanks for the invite Steve. My schedule is very uncertain but I could not consider imposing on a person when I hadly know what sort of beer they like. Otherwise I'll dump a 6pack of some premium weido beer on you that tastes like orange and rhubarb and gives you chronic gas for a week.
