I want to make a 'omni'(is this the right description?) directional speaker in a cylindrical base using the full range jordan units. These are for personal use so I want to experiment with a horn loaded flare firing upwards onto a 'cone' to disperse the sound. The cabinet will be a horn/transmission line type using 3 different size tube sections.
The biggest challenge is to make the flare. Is there anything ready made on the market? Also the 5 inch Jordan units- how long do I need to make the transmission line? |
