Omnes Audio L8

hi,

looking at revisiting the Omnes Audio L8, i had the 'spec' version a while back and would like to try the normal version for a change to my 10" Silver Iris's.

now there are just a few designs that use this driver, i found one here -

now if i take out the high pass on the L8 (the 100uf capacitor i think) would i be able to use the notch filters/correction filter for the L8 on its own?

i want to use the L8 in open baffle on its own, then maybe after a while add some bass support. i do not have enough room for the full design above

You might call or write the guys at Blue planet Acoustic. Nick the designer of the driver and head of Blue planet is fluent in english and an all around pretty good guy.
