I live here in the Philippines and I can't find some of the damping material that has been recommended for my Half Chili project.
My choices are the following: Bonded Foam - little chopped pieces of foam that have been bonded together. Probably the densest foam available. Closed Cell Foam - what they use to stuff couches and mattresses Open Cell Foam - very light...least dense I remember seeing some polyfill batting before but didn't see them in the last store I went to. What do you suggest I use and in what thickness?? Also, do I line all of the internal walls?? |

Buy some cheap pillows or cushions.
look for something that says: "Filling: 100% polyester" Tease it out and tack handfuls on with a staple gun. Start with one side and the back. Another thing you can use is the recycled fluff mat from underneath the carpet in an automobile.
