Got my Lowther DX3s today

I built a Fostext FE168 Sigma BIB a few weeks ago and was instantly hooked. I stumbled on a used pair of Lowther's from John at Lowther America so I had to grab them to try out. I'm almost finished with the Lowther BIB enclosure so I should be able to listen this weekend. I think I'll also build a Sachiko so I can swap the drivers in and out for fun.

This place rules! I'll post pics soon and give my impressions.

Congrats, this will be interesting to see how the Lowthers and Sigmas compare with each other, look forward to the pics and your impressions. Dave

Yes, I'm very interested in the differences as well. Vocals are so palpable with the Fostex that I can't really imagine them getting better.

I'm currently running them with a Primaluna Dialogue amp that I'm operating in triode mode with EL34s. I also picked up some Bottlehead 2a3 Paramounts and an Extended Foreplay that I'll be trying out for the first time. Should be a fun week.
