I could.
A word of caution: Many cheap router bits aren't rated for the rotozip's speed. I don't like the idea of a bit flying apart. I know it doesn't spin nearly as fast under load, but I only use bits rated to 20,000 rpm. Also, the real weakness isn't the rotozip jigs or any other, its the tool's stock base. I'd imagine it would work much better with the router base attachment.

AFAIK, 'pincushion' refers to drivers shaped like this:

You can't use a circle jig to cut that recess.

That looks like a good shop built system for a small router or rototool.

The small rototool or laminate trim variations as small routers
(unlike the Trend or that Bosch shown) don't all have base plate machining to attach a jig with screws. Routers don't come around for sale as used very often. The Bosch shown will have better availability than the Trend. I haven't seen or noticed one just like that.

If in doubt, cheat ... I usually jigsaw holes and don't worry about setting the driver flush but for my next enclosures I'm going to ask a local wood turner to make a pair of circular hardwood sub-baffles. They will cover the wobbly hole and the driver will fit flush into them.

Hi,
You could get some 6/8mm steel rod and put a tight bend at one end making sure it is at 90° and with enough length, 2-3", to go through most baffles. I think most routers have trammell holders on the base that can be used.

Thanks
Gareth

Are there any cheaper options? Does someone make something like a cheapo adjustable jig for routers?

I do have a router and bits already.
One pair...right

Once you get into DIY, just doing one is hard
