MJK Project 5 question

My local supplier is charging me 30-40% les if I change 42 with 40 inner dimension. What will happened if instead 42 inch I go with 40 inch in project 5 >>Virtual Fostex FE-206E and FE-207E ML TL Design<<? http://www.quarter-wave.com/Project05/Project05.html

Hi,

Seeing the cabinets are actually optimised for the Lowther drivers,
not the Fostex, I cannot see a 5% change in length making a great
deal of difference, especially for a MLTL rather rather than TL.

Project 5 is for Fostex 206 and 207

Hi,

Yes but the box comes from :

compare :

The only difference is the port length, which for a 5% reduction in
length / volume should be made slightly longer if your being picky.
