Best Fostex speakers for 2A3 amps

I would like to partner a Sun Audio SV-2A3 tube amplifier with a pair of DIY horn Fostex speakers.
Which models of Fostex speakers do you recommend to buy for a 2A3 tube amplifier? reason why?

Well, most are pretty efficient so they should be good with the lowish output. Better question is which will work better with your style of music/room size/volume needs.

Music I listen to most is jazz, voices and classic chamber music.
The room is 6 X 7 metres (20 x 23 feet)

Indeed. The FE127 is not efficient enuff even in a small room if you want to turn it up. For a horn you'd want to look at the FE126 anyway, which would be the OK level wise. If you want the to play really loud one of the larger drivers is better in that sense, althou you give up some of the midrange magic of the smaller drivers.

For Fostex, i would recommend a BIB using the 165k at a minimum or the 225k as an even better option. Supertweeter required. You can also look into the 166e, 167e, 206e, 207e, 168s and 208s. BIBs or other back horns should do the trick for you. Enjoy!

168 Sigmas would be my choice, or 208's with supertweets
