Hi
I picked these up today to save them from being dumped. Look like two 1950's/60's mono cabinets. The older has a single 12" Grampian reproducers driver & the other a 12" Fane driver, a bakelite crossover with some kind of adjuster pot & a hole for a tweeter which has been removed. Both cabs have a slot for a reflex port & both are well made (homemade?) & are lined with what looks like wool & down. The foam on the Fane driver is shot. I am refurbing an old valve mono amp & will use one of these at least with that amp. Has anyone seen this type of cab before or got any info? Thay are a bit big (GF not happy!) but were too nice to see dumped! I can never get this forum to take my pics so here is a link to some photos http://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=23808 Thanks Mike |

Looks like you have to register - but that's a bonus:
I wasn't aware of that forum before - but I've registered now, and there's alot of great stuff there! |
