Default looking for a small 2" or 3" driver with poor bass response

does anyone know about a cheap 2" or 3" driver that could go from about 80hz to - 5khz or above? response should be pretty flat, power handeling is not that important. thanks!

That's actually pretty good bass response for that size driver. Maybe an Aura NS-193 or something similar. I know the HiVi B3S can do that, but it really turns to mud under 100Hz.

Default surplus TV speakere but...

they are not likely to get you to 80 Hz unless they are large 4 inches or more even then 80 Hz is a tall order. That is in the bass range and TV speakers do voice range for the most part. You might also take a look at some dead getto blaster and the like.

80 Hz for a driver that size is a challenge... i've just started playing with the Fostex FF85k, it is good to 100 Hz with limited levels, and goes up, up, up from there (fully done up truely a stunning driver). The Aura NS3 is probably the bass king for a 3" but you pay by giving up efficiency.
