I am very familiar with the sound of both Jordan's and Bandor's 50mm drivers, but, with the current rater of exchange being so bad, am thinking of building some speakers using the CSS FR125S with their SDX7 on the bottom.
Can anyone tell me what I can expect, tonally, out of the FR125s relative to the Jordans or Bandors? |

It's the difference between a metal cone and a paper cone. In my experience, the FR sounds "warmer" than the other two.

Although I've never heard a Jordan with Bud's EnABL treatment, Dave at Planet_10 recently sent me a treated FR and it was a definite improvement. A friend (who can't listen to Jordans) said the treated FR made it seem like the vocalist we were listening to had just upgraded to a higher quality microphone.
