Default Minimus 8

today I found a lonely little orphan, missing its twin. Looks very similar to the 1197, no? Gotta find another, wouldn't be right to just have one.

I passed up a $20 pair in a pawn shop a few months ago, and have regretted it since. Cabs were pretty too. I couldn't find much info on line, so I figured few were made. Have you listened to that little driver?

Mine sounds quite nice. I'm gonna mount it on a small OB and maybe it'll work for mono.

I might well have some of those... the label is a bit blurry, 12100s?

My pic is pretty poor, no doubt. The label on the rear reads:

Full Range
1210DC 8 Ohms
Nominal 5W
Music 10W.MAX
Korea
9129KK

The basket has 6 legs and it's a ceramic magnet. Whether you have one or not, thanks for checking Dave!

Radio Shack had a number of variations on these Fosters (including the 1197), all with the same basket & cone, but different motors, just needed to know which one i was looking for.
