seems like the Hemp driver thread has become pretty convoluted, so I thought I'd start a new thread for the Demetri and the Mileva speakers, and builder experiences. Not strictly for these builds, but others too, of similar types. I attach a couple of photos of the Demetri/Hemp FR8 speakers recently completed..

Absolutely. There is true inner beauty in objects in which the form appears to inherently follow function, yet remains attractive despite (because) of it. I think I will probably build Demitri when my semester is done - just need to settle on a suitable driver. I would like something a little special that I can live with for a good long time. I would prefer whizzerless...

I wonder if Scott could comment on the suitability of the FX-120 and/or F120A for use in the Mileva, how much of a change from the original it may be, and if possible, what the overall dimensions might be?
Problem here is that I happen to have two cardboard boxes just about the same size of the finished Harveys, and they totally dominate the small space of my office, so for the time being I might be looking for another enclosure type that will work with the F-120A and won't be so imposing on the space I have to work with.
I really loved the LGS's when I heard them at RMAF, and seeing that no matter what I do, I will be augmenting the bottom end with a sub.

That's my Meliva wanabe. I did mine prior to the Meliva but would have built it had i known about it. Seems they look nice flanking the fireplace. To those who have built them, do you feel they need a sub or can they live without?

Must also comment on the other builds here already....panomaniac, both you and chrisb SUCK (mainly because you folks make beautifull things and I can barely hammer a nail)
