Without going into complex spreadsheets is therea simple method of calculating the ideal port size for and MLTL design. Also, what tuning frequency do people go for (JX92s) any why. How do you claculate port dimensions to get this tuning freq for MLTL?

Greets!
I don't know of any simple method per se to calc the port for any vented alignment. My 'simple' method is to use a 'simple' box program to calc the minimum low port noise diameter and length with the understanding that in a MLTL it will be too long due to the cab's 1/4 WL pipe loading of it. AFAIK there's only a few box programs that can calc a 'close enough' correct length, with MJK's MathCad software being the easiest/cheapest of them. Anyway, the Jordan 48" MLTL is a half space max flat alignment tuned to ~40 Hz: GM
