I remeber reading a thread somewhere about the PS1, some were saying it was really great, others that it was merely acceptable. I have not tried it myself so cannot comment, though I am all for a little experimentation...

All of the cuts have been made, it is now time to start assembling the Sachiko. I will take pics of the build for those interested.

Oh yes. We are interested. Bring them on. More the better.

Enjoy the build. Oh yes -and take care of your back. 'Light' is not a word that instantly springs to mind when considering these boxes.

Hi aquapiranha how are you getting on with the building?
I've got version 1 of the playstation going so you can add that to your listening list when you get the free time to slide over.
Best sounding 20 quid CD player I've ever heard!

Hi John, the 'speakers are just about finished, though I have not yet sealed them as the drivers are not yet in and I want to be able to test various levels of wadding before they are permanently glued. I will egt around to coming over, promise! will be good to hear a playstation as a source, not tried that yet....
