Thought you might like to see this:
http://www.gizmag.com/go/7898/ Specifically it sounds as if the diaphragm's shape is providing good off-axis sound at higher freq.s.. "Tolerant of positioning and with an unusually flat frequency response, the 240 series provide a precise and natural listening experience over a wide range of listening positions" I doubt though if it will ever become an available DIY driver (..at least from Elac). ![]() ..and looking at the driver's suspension its likely that it isn't meant for more than a low freq. of about 500 Hz. (..so "fullrange" it likely isn't..)
