Specifically it sounds as if the diaphragm's shape is providing good off-axis sound at higher freq.s..

I doubt though if it will ever become an available DIY driver (..at least from Elac).
..and looking at the driver's suspension its likely that it isn't meant for more than a low freq. of about 500 Hz. (..so "fullrange" it likely isn't..)
