4 Ohm fullrangers, DC Gold?

Hello all!

I plan to build reasonably sized OBs with good bass (at the expense of low sensitivity) using this:

and this

I consider 4Ohm essential because the coils are expensive enough that way.
Now I am searching for a 4Ohm fullranger.
I heard the little Jordan as midranger in a japanese box and I didn`t like it too much. Ciare`s 4 Ohm fullrangers all have whizzers, even the 4". The Supravox 165LB is a bit expensive. Does anybody have experiences with DC Gold (former Babb)? I fear they are not so different than Jordan, because they also have aluminium diaphragms and single suspension.

Here is a Monacor that should be perfect for BIB:

For this project I want something without whizzer. Concerning the Omnes made by Tangband I first have to see what sensitivity I get in the bass after linearization, i.e. whether the series resistor for the fullranger increases the Qts far enough.
Meanwhile I heard about the Jordan in an other forum that it is not recommended for OB because it needs the compressed air as a second suspension. I have asked DC Gold whether they have the same problem with their drivers, waiting for reply.
An alternative project would be Hawthorne Augie plus Ciare HX132. I saw a FR graph of the Augie in the Nobox and the bass extension is impressive, just peaky at the resonace frequency.

Wonder how it would be in a plain baffle.
